The content and visual display between Word 2010 and OOo was the same. Below are the steps I followed: 1. OS: Windows XP 2. Copy Excel 2010 rows and columns with and without borders, different alignment, text with different font sizes and numerical data, a formula, date formatting and shaded cells 3. Paste copied Excel information in step 2 into a Word 2010 document. 4. Save Word document. 5. Open OOo 3.3.0 (build 9567) 6. File; Open; select saved Word Document in step 4. 7. Compare Word document with OOo file to visually verify the display. Actual results - display was equal. 8. Save OOo as a text file. 9. Using Beyond Compare - Compared Word document in step 4 and OOo file saved in step 8. Actual results - Content was equal I attached the files that I used.
