A "pinner" is a fairly new tool on the market that you may not have in your
arsenal yet. This pneumatic nail gun shoots a 23-gauge headless pin, sometimes
referred to as a “micro pin.”
Merriam-Webster defines "pinner" as follows:
Definition of PINNER
1 : a woman's cap with long lappets worn in the 17th and 18th centuries
2 : one that pins
