In mode "register text changes" (sorry for my bad translation, i use the german
version) it repeatedly happens that not all marked text gets replaced by new
text.
So i do following steps:
i) i have 2 windows open, my original text and another one with alternative
texts
ii) in main text i mark a couple of lines
iii) in other window i mark and copy a couple of lines
iv) in main window i replace marked text with text in memory (paste)
v) then i see that not all marked text actually gets replaced, words in first
line of text get "forgotten"
i guess this is a bug which has been around for sime time now.
in libreoffice the bug was even more severe - whole chunks of text simply
disappeared.
in my view this is a severe bug for all those people who do a lot of group work
