especially in merged cell areas text seems to fit in edit mode but will be
truncated in print preview/while printing.
please have a look at the two attachments.
a workaround is to use the shrink to fit cell option from format cells dialog
or enable "use print metric"

but this option is *not* saved with the document - why?
this is different from writer, where the property
"PrinterIndependentLayout" is saved in settings.xml.
