I create chart in calc and want copy him to writer, so I select chart and from
right menu choose copy. Now I open new Text Document in writer, from menu
choose edit and paste.
In text document I don't see data series only empty object with X and Y Axis.
Problem tested in AOO 3.4.1, AOO400-dev on Windows 7 and Windows 8.
