In my opinion, <text:alphabetical-index-mark text:string-value="Mirror"/> bites the following character but not happen with the parts wrapped with text:alphabetical-index-mark-start and end tags. In the attached screen shot, last "Simulation" part is correct even the index mark is there just before the word. Maybe this is because it was in the modified range.
