The file you have attached has no extension, most programs do not perform a deep detection of the file type by reading the file contents, they just take the extension into account. "Bsp 1" should be named "Bsp 1.odt", ".odt" is the extension of the file, it indicates that it is an OpenDocument Text document (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filename_extension) When you save a file, make sure the Save dialog has the check box "Automatic file name extension" checked. This way, you only have to provide the file name, the extension is added automatically.
