--- Comment #10 from Chris Castaneda <[email protected]> ---
Testing Steps of Procedure:
1) Open Apache Open Office Icon;
2) Select Calc;
3) After AOO-Calc opens, select the "Styles and Formatting" icon in the new
sidebar;
4) Right-click in the open area in the "Styles and Formatting" sidebar and
select "New...";
5) Select through just the styles and formatting option tabs going in order
(e.g. select Organizer, then Numbers, then Font, then Font Effects, etc.).

The crash generally happens on the Font Effects tab, but the number of tab
selections until it happens is quite random. The smallest number of clicks was
around three.

To answer your questions:

1) Open Office desktop icon, then selecting Calc;
2) By right-clicking in the "Styles and Formatting" sidebar and selecting
"New...";
3) I generally do not select any cells when running through the above
procedure. It doesn't matter whether or not a cell, or group of cells are
selected, or if there is any text or not in them. See the above steps for the
minimum clicks-to-crash;
4) Just from one tab to another (generally in sequence, though this also does
not matter). It has not been necessary to change any fields in the different
tabs to produce a crash. The amount of clicks to generate a crash is random,
but the smallest was 3 (via going in sequence) and the largest amount was
around 20;
5) In general, it is just a single surfacing of the "Cell Style" dialogue. I
have in the past been able to click through the tabs a few times, close the
dialogue, reopen it, and after clicking on a few tabs the crash occurs. The
above steps is the simplest scenario from which I was able to create the crash.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
