Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new Writer document.
2. Type a character or word and select it.
3. In the Sidebar open the "Styles and Formatting" deck.
4. In the "Styles and Formatting" window click
the "List Styles" icon.
5. Drag the selection to the window.
6. In the "Create Style" dialog box enter a name for the new style.
Result:
OpenOffice crashes and the recovery process begins.
Note:
Issue already occurs in version 4.0.0
