Your file is likely damaged. I hope you have got a backup?

For such problems issue tracker is not the right place. Please use our mailing
lists or a forum.

Nevertheless some hints:
- If you had enabled backup in Tools > Options > Load/Save > General you can
find a backup in the folder, which is listed in Tools > Options > OpenOffice >
Paths.
- The files are actual zip-containers. Make a copy of that file, change the
filename extension to zip and try, whether Windows8 is able to unpack the file.
If not, look for a zip-container repair tool.
