There was one solution that seemed to work. It worked for my OpenOffice Program. That made me very happy, because I like open office. So here is the solution that I found that also worked for the program that I use. 1. Open OpenOffice 2. On Home Page click on Tools 3. Scroll down to and click on Options 4. Expand the + next to OpenOffice.org 5. Scroll down to Online Update and UNCHECK the check for updates automatically Unchecking the Check for updates automatically really saved the day for me.
