ALG: There is no reason to disable it; both objects are rotatable, and the
rotation is relative to the existing one, so no general problem here. The angle
shown on multiselection is the one form the first shape of the selection, same
as for group shapes.
It is identical to the 'Position and Size' dialog, tab (2), 'Rotation'.
I know Symphony was more conservative on this, but still allowed the
multiselection and also offered the rotation (with angle 0.0). Since it did not
handle the rotation relative to the existing one this does not work
interactively in Symphony (try it using the interactive rotation tool in the
Symphony panel, the bigger the value the bigger the objects jump around
uncontrolled).
