Alexander Troshchenko <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #14 from Alexander Troshchenko <[email protected]> --- Writer Version: AOO341m1 (Build: 9593) Rev. 1372282 Used "Test File to see Bug" and the same document made in MS Office 2010 14.0.6023.1000. For the file made in MS Office - Saved 3 footnotes, 3 footnotes appeared. For the test-file attached - No footnotes appeared in Writer. For the test-file attached - Tried to open in Google Docs - didn't open, crash. Also tried to open in the latest version of Libre Office - crashed. I believe that the problem is in the way specific MS Office versions save the file. If the newest version save it fine, it doesn't crash anywhere, but for the test file it doesn't show correctly in Writer, and doesn't even open in latest version of LibreOffice and Google Docs. Maybe this issue is not an actual bug of open-office. I also found several other cases, when OpenOffice looses some data. For example the following bug: 122452. Maybe OpenOffice handles corrupted data and just ignores the corrupted chunks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. You are the assignee for the bug.
