Therefore it is also not a release blocker. I am not sure that I understand the problem. The first comments seems to indicate that undo does not work after a (unsuccessful) search. This would not exactly be a bug. Searching in Impress does not only search the content of all slides but also that of notes, handout and master pages. For this is has to switch views while searching.
