Hello,
I think it would be of huge interest to implement menus/buttons and/or
per-configured OOBASIC scripts similar to ASAP Utilities for Excel. Such a
project could also easily receive crowd funding on IndieGogo, KickStarter, and
so forth to help development cost and time.
I e-mailed the developer of ASAP Utilities and he said it would require a
complete rewrite as the addon is for Excel and uses Microsoft VBA. Additionally
it would not need to be a plugin for OpenOffice if it were implemented directly
into the menus or toolbar.
