The proposed new version of other is how I imagined it would be. > At least the SDK has no separate section > as it is within the table. > > BTW: > Please note that the current "other.html" webpage is deprecated and will be > replaced soon with a webpage (currently accessible via > "http://ooo-site.staging.apache.org/download/test/other_tables.html"). This better as far as the intro is concerned However I think combining the language packs in the same table makes the table much harder to read. For most people, language packs are not necessary, so why force them to skip past them in the table? I think it would be clearer if the page listed the additional language packs separately. I think it would be clearer to have something like: ---------------- [ cut here ] --------------- Apache OpenOffice 4.0.0 - Base installation Please choose one of the following downloads according to your primary language and the platform on which it will be installed. If you want to use multiple languages, you can download additional language packs - see below for details. TABLE OF FULL INSTALLs ... Apache OpenOffice 4.0.0 - Additional Language packs The base installation includes a single language (e.g. Spanish). If you want to use multiple languages (e.g. you also want Galician), you can download the appropriate language pack and add it to the existing installation. The language can be changed via the menu "Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages - User Interface". Note that language packs are only suitable for a specific version of OpenOffice (same version and platform) so make sure you choose the correct platform (and version). You can add as many additional language packs as you want to the base installation.
