OpenOffice 4.0.0 AOO400m3(Build:9702) shuts down when I paste into, save Write
formats (odt and xml) and Word formats (doc and xml) after I've typed some
text.
I don't have the opportunity to test any other functions as it keeps crashing.
The recovery process does not give me the crash report.
I haven't tried any of the other components (Base, Calc, etc.) as it's not
worth my time.
I have a Macbook Pro 5.1 running Mac OS X 10.8.4 (12E55), 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3,
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
I installed the latest Java from Apple Support to make sure that wasn't the
problem.
I tried three downloads and installations to make sure there wasn't a problem
with the file transfer.
My system reported the crash to Apple each time it happened but I can't find
the report after I "restore" the file.
