Pasting an image into Impress 4.0.0 from Firefox 22.0 and IE 8 fails. Chrome
28.0.1500.95 appears to work.
When pasting from Firefox, the image in Impress is sized correctly, but
completely black. (Confirmed on Windows XP 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit.)
When pasting from IE 8, the image does not appear on the slide. Impress
evidently ignores the paste request, as the undo menu item does not update to
"Undo Paste". (Confirmed on Windows XP 32-bit.)
In both these cases, pasting the same image into other applications
(PowerPoint, MS Paint, etc.) work as expected. This operation also worked in OO
3.4.1.
As a workaround, it is possible to first paste the image into a third
application (such as MS Paint), copy it from MS Paint, and paste it into
Impress.
