--- Comment #6 from ALAN E RUCKER <[email protected]> --- I recently downloaded OpenOffice 4.0 and thought I would lose my mind as my PASSWORDS file was corrupted and I thought all would be lost. After uninstalling and re-installing the "Requires Elevation" error code continued to curse me. Here is how I fixed it. (I have Windows 7). When you find the file you want, click on it to view open, select, view, etc. You will notice an option which reads "NEW."
