Bug ID: 122931
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: The "major interval" of the Y axis in a XY graph is
changed in an unwanted way.
Product: Calc
Version: AOO 4.0.0
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: formatting

Premise. I have the Italian version of AOO 4. I translated the italian label
"parte principale" in "major interval", but I do not know if it is the correct
translation of the label. The "parte principale" is the grid interval of the
Y-axis.
1. Fire up AOO Calc.
2. Type in a few pairs of decimal numbers.
3. Insert a XY chart showing those numbers.
4. Select the XY chart.
5. In the XY chart we define the "major interval" of Y-axis with a decimal
number (2.5 for example).
6. Press "OK" to confirm the choise.
7. Change another propriety of the Y-axis (the color of the line, for example).
8. Press "OK" to confirm the choise.
Result:
The XY chart is not correct. The "major interval" of Y-axis is changed in a way
not wanted.
Expected result:
Should not change the main part though I have not specifically requested.
Note:
When you re-open the properties of the Y axis, I noticed that the "major
interval" seems to be truncated to the integer part of the number entered, if
it was previously set to a decimal value greater than 1, instead is set to 1
(one) if the value of the "major interval" is set to a value less than 1.
