As discussed on the dev list: if both a dictionary update (say, version
2010.01.01 and 2013.01.01) and an OpenOffice update (say, 3.4.1 to 4.0.0) are
available, the user can face a situation where he cannot escape fatal errors in
profile migration.
Scenario:
- User has OpenOffice 3.4.1 and dictionary 2010.01.01
- User updates dictionary to 2013.01.01
- User updates OpenOffice to 4.0.0
- User runs the first-start wizard and profile migration
- The wizard asks if user wants to keep version 2013.01.01 of the dictionary
(users confirms, or gets Fatal Error)
- [Here's the bug] The wizard asks if user wants to install version 2010.01.01
of the dictionary (users accepts, thus losing his updated extension, or
refuses, getting fatal error)
The "Fatal Error" is anyway solved by simply restarting OpenOffice.
