        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Outdated links on UI Project's accessibility page
           Product: Infrastructure
           Version: current
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: CONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3

On the page http://www.openoffice.org/ui/accessibility/ the following links are
outdated:
* Java Accessibility (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/docs/guide/access/): new URL
= http://docs.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/guide/access/
* Gnome accessibility project (http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/): new
URL = https://projects.gnome.org/accessibility/
* List of legal issues in different countries from the Gnome Accessibility
Project (http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/laws.html): now at
https://projects.gnome.org/accessibility/about.html though possibly outdated
* The Section 508 link is still valid, but there is an entire site for this at
http://www.section508.gov/.
* Guidlines for writing accessible documents: refers to WCAG 2.0, which is not
ideal. Please refer to http://adod.idrc.ocad.ca/, which provides techniques for
several office suites.
* The IBM link (http://www-3.ibm.com/able/accessweb.html) is now
http://www-03.ibm.com/able/guidelines/web/accessweb.html
* Bobby ceased to exist many years ago. For evaluating the accessibility of web
content, consider WebAIM's WAVE (http://wave.webaim.org/) and the list of
evaluation tools at http://www.umich.edu/webaccess/eval/tools.html. For
checking documents in Writer, check
