Rainer Bielefeld <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keywords|needhelp | Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC| |rainerbielefeld_ooo_qa@biel | |efeldundbuss.de Version|4.0.0 |3.4.1 Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #5 from Rainer Bielefeld <[email protected]> --- Modified Version due to report Currently that looks like a user error. If you have some integrated environment like MS Sharepoint of course you will have to consider lots of restrictions to keep the system running, a simple doubleclick on setup.exe is not a good idea. The appropriate way would have been an Administrative Installation, sometimes called Server Installation, some first hints can be found at at <http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Run_OOo_versions_parallel#Windows> I close this one as NOTOURBUG, currently we do not have evidence that there is a problem after an appropriate AOO installation. @robert.schultz: Thank you for your report – unfortunately important information we will need to reproduce your problem is missing. If you want to reopen this bug because you found evidence that this really is an AOO bug, please add all information requested in following due to <http://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/QA/HowToFileIssue#Reporting%20a%20New%20Bug#Principles>, so that we can try to create a similar installation as yours for further tests (what might be very expensive): a) Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is /I can't see a missing link in the screenshot. Do you want to tell that 'Open' button does not work as expected? Please describe exactly!/ b) We need to know ALL relevant details concerning your existing installation, for example, of course your MS Sharepoint version and and and ... f) add information f1) what EXACTLY is unexpected (see above) f2) and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation for SHAREPOINT, WIN, AOO!) f4) concerning your Operating System (Version, Distribution, Language) f5) MS Sharepoint settings what might be related to your problems f6) AOO installation settings that might be related to your problems, (best would be a complete installation log) f9) Whether that worked without problems in former OOO / AOO Versions I recommend to ask for assistance at <http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/> or <http://www.openoffice.org/support/> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
