File that most easily reproduces the display problems.

MacBook Pro w/
OS X 10.8.4
2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
6 GB 667 DD$w SDRAM

On file of moderate complexity, but a lot of cross-sheet references, I
encounter several different issues where the display does not update correctly.
These issues do not occur 100% of the time, but seem to occur worse when
changing formulas or defining new named ranges.

1) Switching worksheets, both worksheets are displayed on top of each other,
giving a totally garbled view.

2) Switching worksheets gives the pinwheel of death for as long as ten minutes,
then worksheet area is blank.

3) Scrolling through worksheet gives garbled view.

4) Cut and paste rows fails to clear the cut row from view (but in reality has
been cut).

For most cases, saving and closing the file, then reopening it will resolve the
problem until the next major cross-sheet edit occurs. However, sometimes you
must close OO to completely resolve the issue.

Also, it seems the performance almost significantly decreases with editing, but
performance returns to normal after saving and reopening the file.

I am attaching the file I'm having problems with. It is used for calculations
associated with a public art project. PLEASE do not propagate the file!! Also,
SOME INFORMATION IN THE FILE IS DATED AND/OR INCORRECT -- I know that and
that's what I'm trying to fix when encountering these problems. If you want a
copy of the spreadsheet for personal use, PLEASE wait until it is complete and
published -- I will publish it when it is ready for general use. THANK YOU!!
