Samir <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #3 from Samir <[email protected]> --- I have successfully replicated the bug on AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1523756 2013-09-16 20:50:21 (Mo, 16 Sep 2013) on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. This bug is almost the same bug as 23101 which has been confirmed. How to replicate: 1. Open Calc. 2. Choose random cell and start typing. 3. Press Shift+Backspace. This will result in going out of cell-edit "mode" and will select the whole cell. Pressing backspace after this will result in all of the contents of the cell being deleted. However, if you try to edit the cell again after having pressed Shift+backspace and then proceed to press Shift+Backspace again, then it works as it should (deletes the characters). I have also tried testing another similar keyboard combination, such as Shift+Del. This doesn't work either, but does not result in the cell being selected. The cursor just stays blinking where it is. As mentioned before, most people use the shift key when typing in capitals and when they keep it pressed down because they haven't realized that it's still pressed, it could result in some very frustrating data loss. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
