DISABLE THE AUTOFORMATING FOR DATES FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!!! Every single time with
the damn apostrophe and cell formatting!!!! And not even the option to turn it
off... It makes me feel like it's a twisted cry for help from some poor soul
eternally stuck churning butter, or doing some other sort of mindless,
repetitive activity (no doubt as punishment for having the shitiest sense of
cognitive ergonomics in the history of product design).
The delete prompt is quite retarded too, not to mention the downright insulting
keyboard customization tool. At least those are, in a sub-optimal and slightly
maddening way, surmountable.
Thinking back on those things, however, makes me wonder:
DOES ANYONE WHO WORKS ON THIS PROGRAM ACTUALLY USE IT AND IS A HUMAN BEING?
I've had yellow fever, and those harrowing, endless hours were far more
comfortable and peaceful than my experience with this. Following that train of
thought, I've decided to give the benefit of the doubt and file this as a bug.
Perhaps nobody intended for this to happen and it's all a big misunderstanding.
Maybe with a little more inter-species communication, this breach can be
healed.
Unfortunately, the bug has led me to be unable to use the software anymore.
I'm sure I'm not alone in this, so I've classified it as a "blocker". I hope a
solution is found before more of us are shoved into the open arms of closed
source shitware.
