Joe <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #4 from Joe <[email protected]> --- This seems to be a very deprecated issue and if I may suggest be looked into for removal; however, here are some results that i have found while investigating this bug. I did not manage to replicate the bug in Apache OpenOffice 4.0.0 as I tried multiple lines of code with accented characters and I was able to "tune up" the spell-check to ignore the accented characters. Also, I was able to add these accented characters to the dictionary as well. Only thing I did note, is that legitimate words with an accented characters are not recognized by the, such as Pokémon (which is in the some US dictionaries). I would like to note, that I do not know whether or not this is because their dictionary hasn't been updated enough or if it has trouble handling accents. Note: many popular editors, including popular browsers also do not handle accented characters. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
