Files authored or saved as .odp using Open Office Impress 4.0.1 are deemed as
corrupt when attempting to open them in PowerPoint. The same thing occurs when
trying to open files made or saved in PowerPoint using Impress.
This was originally thought to be a possible storage issue with our company's
software causing corrupt files. However, I was able to determine and reproduce
the issue myself using the newest version of Open Office released on 9/25/2013.
This is affected dozens of users now at our company, and the number is
increasing.
