I use an NVidia GEForce graphics card and i7 processor on a Lenovo y410p computer. Steps I took to reproduce: 1) Open new Writer Document 2) Open drawing Toolbar through View -> ToolBars -> Drawing 3) Select Text box option, create a text box. 4) In the properties tab on the right, unhide the "Position and Size" section. 5) Click on flip image icons (vertical and horizontal) Completing these steps resulted in the text box not changing in any way. As mentioned, the buttons are not grayed out (which would show the functionality does not apply). However, using the rotate function right next to those icons works and it completes essentially the same task. I did notice that the flip buttons work on other shapes in the drawing toolbar. For example, the triangles do flip as expected.
