Bug ID: 123650
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Brochure printing should use sheets not pages
Product: Writer
Version: 3.4.1
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: printing
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
When printing a brochure from OO.org Writer, the concept sheets must be added.
Pages controls which pages of the document are rendered in brochure sequence,
and this is ok.
At this time, for printing on printers that do not have automatic both sides
printing, I can say "reverse order" and it is applied correctly.
However, if I want only sheet 1 to be printed (ie the cover on a different kind
of paper), I cannot. If I say page 1, the only page 1 is rendered, resulting in
an incomplete sheet.
In layout however, there should be an additional input field that controls
which sheets (with assembled brochure pages) are to be printed.
(For inspiration, take a look at Acrobat Reader XI print dialog when selecting
brochure)
