It only happens on my MacBook Pro with OSX 10.8.5, not with my Macbook 10.6.x I can replicate the problem by opening ANY doc in writer or calc, going to file/save-as, and then double-clicking on a folder, whether it is a subfolder or parent folder, and then double-clicking on another parent/sub folder two more times.
