I frequently use Standard Filter with AutoFilter and have never had a problem. But my AutoFilters disappear frequently for no apparent reason. Sometimes one or more AutoFilters is gone when I first open a file. Sometimes an AutoFilter disappears when I return to a sheet after working on another sheet, or another file, or another application. It happens so often that it is a major pain in the neck.
