There seems to be a fixed space allotted to footnotes on each page.
For example, when I put 4 footnotes on a page, the fourth one got cut off
halfway through and just the latter half appeared on the next page.
It would be nice if the area for the footnotes grew a little so that the fourth
footnote (in the example) could fit.
