Or you use another sheet with references =$Sheet1.A1 and then sort this other sheet. Using another sheet has the advantage, that you never destroy your original data and that you can use the comfort copy feature for the formulas on sheet 1, because their address references remain relative. The feature, that it works with second sheet had been introduced for Excel compatibility.
