Steps how to reproduce with "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale [Rev.
1524958 2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic”
4.0 User Profile used for all predecessor versions
0. Launch AOO
2. AOO Start Center: menu 'File -> New -> Text document'
> New blank document in Writer opens
3. Type few words ("This is a test")
4. Menu 'File -> Save as -> Text document .txt - Browse for appropriate folder
- Testdocument.txt' [OK] -> Warning Appears [Save with current format]
> Document will be saved
5. Close document
6. Exit AOO
7. Launch AOO, open 2 Writer and 2 Calc documents (existing ones)
8. In WIN Files Explorer (full screen Window) browse for to "Testdocument.txt"
(in appropriate folder)
9. Coubleclick "Testdocument.txt"
Expected: ASICC-Filter dialog appears in foreground, focus on ASICC-Filter
Actual: Nothing visible, "Idle" mouspointer when over over filename.
ASCII filter has opened invisible behind WIN Explorer.
Additional Info:
(a) Depending on actions before the filter even might be hidden behind many
Windows
(b) It seems that the ASCII filter is connected to the Document window what
has been in focus last in step 7. With many documents open it's not easy
to find the dialog.
(c) I will test .csv later
