I read this requist as "Cannot use filter for a month from birthdate" in
OpenOffice Community Forum.
Example:
Currently some chin ups are necessary to filter a column containing calendar
dates for Months. May be you have a Table with birth dates (celebrities
1.1.1930 until today) and now want to find out what will have birthday next
month "March". Most simple way would be to apply a filter for "Month=March" to
the column with the birth days, but such a filter currently is not available.
You need an extra column with function "=MONTH(birthdate)", and on that one you
can apply a filter "=3"
