MaryPerpar <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #7 from MaryPerpar <[email protected]> --- I re-tested this using Open Office 4.0.1 rev 1524958 and Windows 7, and this is still an issue. The original suggestion to use the direction of the cursor when deciding font still makes sense and would make things easier to use. This suggestion is compatible with how it works in Microsoft Word 2010. 1: Type HELLOWORLD <Note HELLO IS IN BOLD> 2: Now Insert the Word THE in between Hello and World 2a: If you want the word in BOLD, Place the mouse on the H in the world Hello then RIGHT arrow over until you get to the place where you want to insert the new word and Insert the word THE. The attributes of the word to the left of the new word are then used. 2b: If you do not want the word not to be BOLD, Place the mouse on the R in the word WORLD then LEFT arrow over until you get to the place where you want to insert the new word THE. The attributes of the word to the right of the new word are then used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. You are the assignee for the bug.
