The problem is that I can enter any valid date and get a date except for the one particular date 1/2 (with en-GB locale 1/2 1/4 and 3/4 too). In Writer tables I can enter the date 1/2 in numeric context and I can enter ½ in textual context. I enter _any_ date in numeric context and get a date. I enter some text in textual context and the auto-correct feature takes place.
