You replace a certain library in the your installation with the one provided in bug 124426. Could you please provide a little bit more clearer which actions you perform when you are "trying to change the page settings"? Did you use the corresponding Sidebar Property panel 'Page'? Did you opened the Stylist, chose a Page Style, opened the Format Page Style dialog via the context menu entry Modify. Did you double-clicked the current Page Style name in the status bar to open the Format Page Style dialog? Did you open the Format Page Style dialog via menu Format - Page?
