Issue ID: 124458
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: find and replace does not find style in Calc
Product: Calc
Version: 4.0.1
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows XP
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: editing
Assignee: [email protected]

I have a spreadsheet that contains many strike-trhoughs that I would like to
find and replace or delete. When I use the find and replace GUI. I open it
using More Options and check the "Search for Styles". When I try to select an
item in the "Search for" drop down, I find it blank. However the "Replace
with" drop down has a list of items. I am able to find styles when I am in
"Writer". I also notice that there is a difference between the writer "Find &
Replace" and the Calc "Find and Replace". The Writer version contain two
buttons "Attributes..." and "Format..." where the Calc version does not.
In Calc, I have tried creating an style with the strike-through attribute and
saving this. The new style shows up in the "Replace with" list but does not
appear in the "Search for" list which is again blank.
Is it possible to find strike-through text and number in Calc?
Thanks
