I have a work book with about 10 named ranges
All ranges are workbook wide
5 are for sheets with the current workbook
The original development was in Excel 2007
I wish to use OpenOffice to make use of text display features.
I have:
1) opened the original in Excel and saved as ODS
2) opened the original in OpenOffice and saved as ODS
Either way the links "lose":
a) the name original sheetname and assume the name of the sheet the workbook
opens with.
b) that they are fixed to the sheet named when creating the link in Excel
Having opened the workbook in Open Office I have immediately:
changed the links to refer to the relevant sheet;
applied the fix "$" character to the sheet reference; and
saved the resultant work.
On opening the newly saved worksheet the situation is the same
as when first opened after saving from Excel.
