Hello! Sorry about the delay. Here are the instructions:
Download AutoHotkey from http://www.autohotkey.com/ and install it. Click
on the script yAbrev.ahk (attached to the original report); Windows will ask
you for the program to open it. Choose AutoHotkeyA32.exe or AutoHotkeyU32.exe
(or '64' if your machine is 64-bit) in the directory where AutoHotkey was
installed.
If you don't want to install AutoHotkey, click the executable yAbrev.exe
directly.
Either way, you will see 'nothing' happen (other than the AutoHotkey 'H'
icon on the taskbar) because AutoHotkey runs in the background.
Now open a new Writer window, and type 'gbq': you will get 'ébrique'
instead of 'algébrique'; type 'cadd': you will get 'c'està-dire' instead of
'c'est-à-dire'; try the other examples in the original report.
Next, open a plain-text editor (eg, NotePad), Calc, or the Math-formula
window inside Writer, and type 'gbq', 'cadd',...: you get the correct strings.
