--- Comment #6 from mroe <[email protected]> --- Because a subscript/superscript is only a formatting attribute of a character it does not begin or end a word. Using Insert → Footnote/Endnote… or other fields there will be a defined break ending the word before. Introducing a field type "Subscript/Superscript" could be a solution. But with the reason that the format (font, typeface, font effects, …) can differ from the surrounded text it would not be easier than following possibilities: Insert → Formatting mark → Non-breaking space between word and superscript/subscript. Insert the Unicode character u200B directly via keyboard (dependent from used operating system/window manager) between word and superscript/subscript. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-width_space http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_%28punctuation%29 Insert → Fields → Other…, tab Variables. Using e. g. "User Field" or "Number rage" and format it as superscript/subscript. Because a subscript or a superscript can also be a word that should have been spell checked, spell check shouldn't respect any formatting attribute. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the issue.
