When creating a form, if you create an option button certain actions cause that
button's border to change to the opposite setting of what you intended to set
it to (but the setting remains the same).
Take the following steps to see this issue:
Make a new text document.
Make sure you have the form controls toolbar, if not view->toolbars->form
controls.
Make sure you have "design mode" on from the form controls toolbar
Select "option button" from the form controls toolbar and drag a decently sized
box on the page.
An option button (radio button) appears. If it does not, repeat the last step
but draw a larger box. The borders of this button appear to be a flat gray
circle.
Right click the option button and select "control". A properties box should
appear.
On the general tab of that properties box, scroll down to "style". It should
say "3d" even though it looks flat. Hit the dropdown box and change it to
"flat" then close the properties box. The option button still looks the same
(flat).
Now select file->page preview.
Look at your option button now. It now looks 3d.
Select file->page preview again to go back to the normal view.
The option button still looks 3d.
Right click the option button and select "control". Scroll down to style in the
general tab. It should still say "flat" even though it looks 3d. Change that
option back to 3d and close the box.
The option button now looks flat.
