As stated in comment 3 with copying text into clipboard also the paragraph attribute.will be copied. But if you insert the text the paragraph attribute will only assign to previously empty paragraphs. In this way you can copy and paste text and assigned paragraph styles like e. g. headings. If you dont't want this simply type a character like space before pasting the text.
