Dear Edwin,

In Writer
===========
Open dialog box Tools-Alternatives. Choose Language, Linguistics. The dialog
box freezes.

A connected behavious was that if first choosing some other setting from the
Tools-Alternatives dialogs and then Language, Linguistics and then finishing by
clicking OK, a document opened crashes. It is possible for the restore
procedure built into OO to recover the document, but it feels annoying all the
same.

Previously I reported this behaviour for an earlier release of Open Office, for
which I got the ticket number rvs54cn. I cannot find this report in the Bug
List. The error was fixed in a later version. In the now reported version, it
seems to be back.

I also get hints from the update feature that Khmer spelling is available for
updating, which is odd, since I never chose to install that particular module.

UPDATE
=======

I am currently running Apache OpenOffice 4.0.1, which does not display any of
the above problems.

It could well be that the problem is obsolete in currently developed versions.
I just found it odd that the problem returned after being fixed between
releases.

Kind Regards,

Per Ekelund
