This will take me to the first page containing the found text. This text is highlighted blue. I the change the highlight color to yellow. That will only change the color of that particular text. You say, using "search all" and then changing the HL-color will change all occurrences of the found text. That may be true, but "search all" will not position the pages for me, as will be done by when I use the search box. Instead I will have to scan all pages to find the highlighted text. So my preferred method is the search box. I don't see any reason the behavior of HL-color change should be any different in this case: I just change the color to be used for highlighting.
