Thanks for your check. Regarding the issue that AOO 4.1.0 Beta does not run on Windows 8 I would like to point you to issue 124692. Here somebody else reported the same. Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce it until now. It would be great, if you could also report your observation together with some information about your system in issue 124692.
