[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[R] does refresh and get rid of the interference until I scroll again when it recurs. 3. I suspect the hardware isn't the issue as I don't have the problem in other applications (including Open Office Calc). Also this is a brand new PC and I had the problem on the previous pc. The graphics driver is integrated Intel 4600 4. I haven't seen this behaviour with other documents So if you're confident it's not a problem with Write there must be problem with the document (which was created in Write).
