1. Select green border cell range below → <control+c> for copy → Open new
Writer Document → menu 'Edit → Paste Special → RTF
> B2 keeps merged
2. Select red border cell range below → <control+c> for copy → Open new
Writer Document → menu 'Edit → Paste Special → RTF
> B2 splitted into old 2 cells B2 - B3, merge lost
Additional Info:
(a) Probably Writer Problem, Paste as HTML works fine
(b) I observe this problem back until OOo 1.1.5
(c) Coincidence or same roots? Reminds me to "Issue 124838 - Vertically
merged cells become splitted after copy paste to Calc"
